Two Member States "Go-Live"

The Florida Division of Medical Quality Assurance has announced that the Florida Board of Medicine and Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine will begin processing IMLCC applications - the boards will be acting as the State of Principal License (SPL) for Florida Licensed Physicians seeking to use the IMLCC process to obtain licenses from other member boards and issuing full, unrestricted Florida licenses to physicians with a valid Letter of Qualification, who wish to practice medicine in Florida.
EFFECTIVE 1:00 pm Eastern Time, Wednesday, January 1, 2025
The Hawaii Professional & Vocational Licensing Division has announced that the Hawaii Medical Board will begin processing IMLCC applications. At this time Hawaii will be processing LICENSE APPLICATIONS ONLY for physicians with a valid Letter of Qualification (LOQ) who wish to practice medicine in Hawaii.
The Hawaii Medical Board is not currently able to process applications for Letters of Qualification at this time.
