Each of these reports tell a very important story about the work being done every day by our member boards and the IMLCC to increase access to care for patients in a safe, effective manner.

1. Effective September 26, 2024, the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners & Medical Licensure Commission have announced that they are again issuing Letters of Qualification for qualified Alabama medical licensees . To read the announcement, please follow this link: Alabama SPL
2. The Missouri State Board of Registration for Healing Arts announced that they anticipate activating the IMLCC process for physicians on Monday, October 28, 2024. To read Missouri's announcement, please follow this link: MO Compact Announcement
3. Call for Agenda items. The Commissioners of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission will be meeting on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 in Scottsdale, Arizona. If you have items that you wish to see included on the meeting agenda, please email the IMLCC Executive Director. Items must be submitted no later than 8:00 pm Eastern, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 to be included on the agenda.

- = Compact Legislation Introduced (3 states fall under this category - MA, NY, NC)
- = IMLC Member State serving as State of Principal License (SPL) processing applications and issuing licenses (33 States, DC, and Guam fall under this category)*
- = IMLC Member State implementation mixed - MD Board is serving as SPL processing applications and issuing licenses - DO Board is serving as non-SPL issuing licenses only. (No states fall under this category)*
- = IMLC Member State non-SPL issuing licenses ONLY. (3 States fall under this category - CT, PA, VT)*
- = IMLC Passed; Implementation In Process or Delayed. (4 states fall under this category - FL, HI, MO, RI)*
