1. Effective Monday, 8/26/2024, the State of Pennsylvania Boards of Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine will begin processing applications for a PA license. This means that physicians may now begin requesting licenses from Pennsylvania through the IMLCC process. The Board staff and IMLCC staff continue to work toward Pennsylvania going live as a State of Principal License (SPL).
2. The IMLCC Executive Committee has issued a new Advisory Opinion: Opinion No. 1-2024 - Advisory Opinion - Permanent Voluntary Surrender of DEA License and Effect on Eligibility for Letter of Qualification. To read the document, please follow this link: Advisory Opinion No. 1-2024
3. Call for Agenda items. The Commissioners of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission will be meeting on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 in Scottsdale, Arizona. If you have items that you wish to see included on the meeting agenda, please email the IMLCC Executive Director. Information about the meeting will be provided later in September.
